We’re excited to announce that today, our company Prepared Health will officially become Dina.

Over the past five years, we’ve used the name Dina to refer to our digital assistant that analyzes patient assessments from the home and makes evidence-based recommendations to address social, behavioral and functional needs. This has been an exciting part of our story and a powerful capability within our product suite. 

As communities across the country face the effects of the Silver Tsunami and a shortage of caregivers, the need to stay connected remains central to our mission. Using data to find smarter ways to meet the needs of our aging population is the challenge of our time. We believe the Dina name reflects our commitment to building an online community of caregivers that includes both professionals and families, a platform for real-time collaboration and a pragmatic use of AI to uncover actionable insights to help seniors age in place.

Dina is a personal mission for me with roots in my own experience with an aging parent. In 2011, I lost my father to heart disease. After he passed, we talked to aides who saw him in his home and at senior centers. We found they had meaningful observations that indicated that perhaps his condition was changing. They were an untapped resource with a critical perspective. This was a wake up call. We knew we had to find a way to bring everyone into a digital community to share the types of insights that help people stay well cared for at home. 

As we move to a new name with new colors, symbols and images, our core mission remains the same. We want to empower our customers to better meet the challenges of caring for our rapidly aging population, and help seniors age safely in their homes and communities.

Dina supports our mission with a robust platform that truly delivers on the promise of comprehensive, data-driven care collaboration. We hope you’re as delighted by this presentation of our company as we are.

HIMSS 2020 Speaker News

In other exciting news, we’ve been selected to co-present with Jefferson Health at the upcoming HIMSS Global Health Conference, the industry’s largest health information and technology event, on March 13 in Orlando. We’ll share the story of our innovation partnership in the session: “Create Value for the Buyer and the Innovator to Support Emerging Technologies,” and we will be exhibiting at Booth 4126.
